AFTERNOON EXPLORERS

Monday's-Thursday's from 12:30-2:30.

To participate in an Afternoon Explorer's program, student must be registered in either a 3-year-old class or a Pre-K/JK program and completely potty-trained.

Masterpiece Monday's

Art Explorers is a creative art class that will allow children to explore the process of art in a hands on approach. The children will have an opportunity to use their creativity and discover which processes they love most. They may not come home with a masterpiece every class, but they will have lots of fun and learn a lot without even knowing it!

Tourist Tuesday's

Tourist Explorers is an enrichment program that will allow children to explore the world around them through hands on activities.  The children will have an opportunity to set off on an adventure through different countries learning about geography, animals, and cultures.

Workout Wednesday's

Workout Explorers is an enrichment program that will allow children to explore their gross motor skills.  This year we are working with an outside programs to add additional experiences for our explorers.  The Fall Session will include soccer with Soccer Shots!  Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for preschoolers.  While with one of the best coaches in the business children will work on age-appropriate soccer sills and character-building all while having fun!  Dual enrollment to Mt. Pisgah Afternoon Explorers and Soccer Shots is required for all students to attend.

Think It Through Thursday's

Thinking Explorers is an enrichment program that will allow children to explore STEM activities.  This year we are working with an outside programs to add additional experiences for our explorers.  The Fall Session will include a Junior Engineering Class with Bricks-4-Kidz.  Bricks-4-Kidz classes are specially designed for pre-school aged kids to learn about letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.  Fun LEGO themed activities will be introduced to reinforce the principles of STEM and review size comparison, shape/color identification, counting and patterning.  Dual enrollment to Mt. Pisgah Afternoon Explorers and Bricks-4-Kidz is required for all students to attend.
